Betting Definitions in Golden Exchange Id
These Rules should be understood as follows by bettor of Golden Exchange, unless the situation says otherwise:
“Account”
Refers to a facility that enables an identifiable investor to build a credit balance for betting purposes and the credit of winnings, as well as to make deposits and withdrawals.
“The act”
Refers to the gambling regulation act 2003 (Vic), as modified from time to time, or any successor legislation.
“All in”
Refers to the betting operator's forfeiture of all investments made in respect of a competitor who does not participate in an event.
“bet”
Indicates a wager in cash or by debiting against an account's existing credit balance on a proposition, and the phrases “investment” and “wager” have the same meaning. In the case of multiple betting, each bet may be valued in fractions of whole dollars or cents.
“The betting operator”
Refers to the operator of the wagering licence granted under the act, as well as its duly authorized personnel and agents;
“The betting rules”
Relate to the betting operator's Victorian totalizator betting regulations, also known as the “rules relating to betting transactions in Victoria” (or as otherwise referred to from time to time), which were established in line with the act.
“Bundle bet”
Refers to an investment made on a fixed price racing event in which the investor makes multiple selections to win (or any other betting option made accessible by the betting operator from time to time) from the same event and provides a bundle price that the investor becomes entitled to if a selection is successful, subject to these rules. The betting operator will decide the minimum and maximum number of options that an investor may include in a bundle bet for a specific event.
“Bundle price”
Refers to the price decided by the betting operator at its sole discretion and applied at the moment of investment on a bundle bet, including any additional multiple or factor.
“Cash outlet”
Has the same meaning as it does under the betting rules.
“competitor”
Refers to any person, team, animal, or object that the betting operator expects to compete in an event at the start of betting.
“conclusion”
Refers to the end of the event's play or conduct.
“Controlling body”
Refers to the entity or authority in charge of the conduct of an event on which golden exchange id operates.
“Customer number”
Refers to the number supplied to an internet investor after activating his or her account for the purpose of placing internet investments and allowing the investor to place investments via the internet.
“event”
Refers to a betting competition approved by the commission in accordance with section 4.5.6 of the act.
“Extra time”
Refers to any additional periods played beyond the standard time allotted for the match or game in order to determine any tie, draw, or dead heat.
“Group betting”
Refers to any sort of wagering on the relative performances of two or more nominated contestants.
“Payout”
Refers to the amount owed to a specific investor if the outcome wagered on by that investor occurs, and includes the total amount wagered on that outcome, and the phrases “prize” and “face value of the ticket” have the same meaning.
“Pin”
The term pin refers to the personal identification number used by the betting operator to identify an investor.
“Prices”
Refers to the multiple or factor determined by the betting operator in its sole discretion and used at the time of an investment to predetermine the payout in respect of a successful wager on a certain result in an event based on the result of such event.
“Proposition”
Refers to a specific result or combination of results that may occur in any event on which golden exchange id is active.
“Refund”
The term refund refers to the amount returned to the investor in cash or by crediting the amount of his or her investment to the balance of his or her account.
“Result”
Refers to the prospective outcome of any event or part of an event, or the performance of any competitor in an event or part thereof, and/or the score on which the betting operator chooses to accept bets and establish prices in its sole discretion.
